Old character home located in beautiful Kitsilano needed refreshment. The client requested to change finishes and furniture while preserving the architectural features of the heritage building. The client was not intended to commence a massive reno. The task was to gradually change the look of several key areas, while minimally disturbing everyday life of the inhabitants.
Beautifully crafted, but dark and heavy, this interior needed new energy. The idea was to bring a lot of light and fluidity in previously static and very rectilinear environment. New finishes were chosen for the kitchen, bedroom and master bathroom. New fixtures and furniture with more curvier, sexier profile were chosen to revive the look of the home.
The collaboration has been lasting for over two years. It has been a joy to work on the transformation, watching the old home starting to shine.
